I'm Debbie Diemer, the school counselor for Glenwood Elementary. After receiving my B.S. in Elementary Education at the University of Tennessee, I completed a Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling, and have been serving as Glenwood's school counselor since 1984. As the counselor, I am here as part of a team working with parents, school staff, and community resources to help make school a caring and supportive place for our children. I work to help students overcome barriers to their progress in their academic, social, and emotional growth by providing prevention and intervention services.
